Google Nexus 7 - Apps are in Portrait mode when they should be in Landscape mode

This is a known issue and it has to do with the Lock Screen of the device overriding flash apps and changing their orientation to Portrait.

In order to fix this please kill the application by opening the recent apps list and swiping it away and then relaunching the app.

The other alternative is to disable all lock screens from the device and launch the app. This way the app will never go into Portrait mode.
