During Installation |
| |
While
installing Bob Vila's Home Design™, a message may appear as "Data
Transfer Error -115" or "An error occurred during the data move
process-Error 115." Either message appears when a DLL file does not
install properly. Renaming the CTLEDV2.DLL file and then
reinstalling Bob Vila's Home Design™ should allow the DLL file to

6.0, then do not attempt this fix!
- Abort the installation and exit to the Windows® Desktop.
- Click Start, select Shutdown, and then click Restart in
MS-DOS mode.
- At the DOS prompt, which should be C:\Windows>, type CD
System, and press the Enter key.
- The prompt should now read as C:\Windows\System>.
- Type ren ctl3dv2.dll ctl3dv2.tlc. If the renaming was
successful, you should be returned to a blank new prompt line.
- Type Exit. Windows® will then restart.
- Uninstall and then reinstall Bob Vila's Home Design™. The
