Issue Video Issues
Description
Solution The following should be checked when having video issues:
  1. You have 16 bit sound installed.
  2. Resolution is set to 800 X 600
  3. Color depth is set to 16 - bit (Thousands of Colors).
  4. The latest version of QuickTime is loaded.
It is very important to note that these programs were designed to run at 800 X 600 resolution and at 16 - bit (Thousands of Colors) on both Macintosh and IBM campatible PC's. Please ensure that the settings on your computer are set to these specifications. The program is designed to automatically change them, however, due to the thousands of different configurations that there could be, sometimes it does not. Sometimes it changes them to those specifications, and then does not automatically change them back to your previous settings.

Issue When I put my CD in I get an error message - "This program cannot run." What is wrong?
Description
Solution This usually happens with Windows XP Home, though it is not limited to that Operating system. Apparently something is amiss inside the Windows compatibility. This should solve the issue:
  1. Click on My Computer in the Start menu.
  2. With the right mouse button, click on the CD-ROM icon for the Spy Kids game.
  3. Select "Open" from the menu.
  4. Right click on the setup icon (Should show Carmen and Juni).
  5. Select "Properties" from the menu.
  6. Click on the Compatibility tab inside the window.
  7. Check the box named "Run this program in compatibility mode for: " and select Windows 2000 in the list just below.
  8. Click on the OK button to save the modification.
  9. Your program should now install.

Issue Why does the program quit after the opening screens?
Description
Solution Could be a problem with the audio and video drivers. Please check the date of your audio and video drivers by right clicking on My Computer and selecting "properties". After checking your drivers, make sure that you have the latest drivers for your hardware.

Windows 95/98: Click the Device Manager tab and click on the plus sign. Double click the drop down selection for your sound and video cards and click the driver tab. You will see the date and manufacturer of you hardware.

Windows 2000/Me/XP: Click the Hardware tab and select the Device Manager button and click the plus sign for your display adapter and sound card. Double-click the drop down selection for your sound and video cards and click the driver tab. You will see the date and manufacturer of you hardware.
