Game gets a black screen or can't be displayed after changing the
resolution in the OPTIONS menu |
| |
This will occur if the
game display resolution is set above the resolution supported by the
monitor. Since the game is not visible, it is impossible to change
the resolution back by accessing the Options menu.
To correct this:
1. Double-click MY COMPUTER
2. Double-click PROGRAM FILES
3. Double-click LEGO MEDIA
4. Double-click GAMES
5. Double-click LEGO ALPHA TEAM
6. Double-click GAME.TXT
7. Delete the lines labeled "Height" and "Width". If the line
labeled "BPP" has the number "32" next to it, change this to "16".
8. Click FILE
9. Click SAVE
10. Close any open windows and restart LEGO Alpha Team
When LEGO Alpha Team is restarted, it will be reset to the default
resolution. |

How
do I control the Brightness and Mouse sensitivity? |
| |
This issue can occur on
some systems if previously in the options the resolution is set to
1024x768 32bit color. Once closing this options feature and going
back in the options, the clickable arrows are not visible unless the
mouse cursor is over them.
1. In many cases updating the video drivers on the system has proven
to resolve this issue. Check on drivers for your video cards at the
manufacturer's website.
2. Please also check the display settings. To check the display
settings:
a. Right click on the Desktop
b. Click on Properties from the drop down menu
c. Click on the Settings tab
d. Click the down arrow by Color Palette or Colors, and choose
High-color 16-bit
e. Set the Screen or Desktop area to 640x480
f. Click Apply
g. Then OK
3. Restart the system if prompted.
If the drivers have been updated and the issue persists the issue
may be related to system settings and system resources. |

How
do I save a game? |
| |
| The game autosaves, so
you will not need to worry about manually saving your progress. If
you want to see your progress, go back to the Headquarters, click on
"Adventure" and this displays the different saved files and the
progress on each one. |
