Playing
the Game Again |
| After completing the
Reader Rabbit's® learning activities, you want to play through the
learning activities again using the same user name. Removing that
user name from the sign-in screen will allow you to sign in again
with the same name. In addition, using a different name when you
sign in will allow you to repeat the activities. |
Complete the following
steps to remove a name from the sign-in screen:
- Click once on the name of the player to be
removed.
- Press and hold the CTRL key (Windows®) or
Control key (Macintosh®) while you tap the R key on the keyboard.
- Release the CTRL (or Control) key.
- Click Yes when asked, "Are you sure you want to
remove [the selected name] from the list?" This should remove the
original name and data file.
- Launch the game and sign-in using the name that
was removed.
NOTE: Another way to
gain access to the learning activities is to use a different name at
the sign-in screen. |

Unable to Use
CD 2 |
| When you attempt to
use CD 2, the following message appears: "In order to use the
Personalized Learning Center, you must install a Reader Rabbit or
Clue Finders product enhanced with the ADAPT Learning Technology and
have at least one user signed in." |
CD 2 will operate
properly only if CD 1 has been installed and you have signed into
the program as a user at least once.
When CD 1 is installed and you sign into the program, the program
creates a PLAYER.DAT file. When CD 2 is initialized and attempts to
install, the Setup program for Personalized Learning Center searches
your hard drive for a PLAYER.DAT file. The CD 2 installation will
abort if a PLAYER.DAT file is not found. |

ASSESSMENT.BMP |
