BTF
Error in the Gas Station Activity |
| Trying
to play the Gas Station activity gives me an error about some BTF
file. What can I do? |
This is a 50MB folder you will be
moving.
FIX #1 (Experienced User)
1. Copy the Y06.btf file from the DATA folder on the Busytown cdrom
to the DATA folder inside the BUSYTOWN folder on your hard drive.
The BUSYTOWN folder by default should be on your C: drive in the
Program Files folder.
FIX #2 (More Casual User)
1. Insert the Busytown cdrom. When the Welcome screen appears click
the 'Don't Start Now' button.
2. Double-click on your 'My Computer' folder. You should see the 'Busytown'
cdrom disc listed in the window.
3. Right Click on the 'Busytown' cdrom icon. When the menu appears
select 'Open'. The 'Busytown' cdrom folder will open.
4. Double Click on the 'Data' folder to open it.
5. Double Click on your C: hard drive icon in the 'My Computer'
folder.
6. Double Click on the 'Program Files' folder.
7. Double Click on the 'Busytown' folder.
8. Right click on the file named 'Y06.btf' in the DATA folder on the
Busytown cdrom. While holding down the right mouse button drag the
'Y06.btf' file over to the DATA folder in the C:/Program Files/Busytown/Data
folder. When the small menu appears select copy.
9. If the 'Confirm File Replace' window appears select 'Yes'.
FIX #3 (For those who know how to use Windows Explorer)
1. Insert the Busytown cdrom. When the Welcome screen appears click
the 'Don't Start Now' button.
2. Start the Windows Explorer program. (Click Start. Under the
'Programs' menu item select 'Windows Explorer'.
3. Double-Click the 'Busytown' cdrom icon.
4. Double-Click the 'Data' folder under the 'Busytown' icon.
5. Single Click (highlight) the file named 'Y06.btf'.
6. Using the 'Edit' menu select 'Copy'.
7. Double-Click the C: hard drive icon.
8. Double-Click the 'Program Files' folder.
9. Double-Click the 'Busytown' folder.
10. Double-Click the 'Data' folder under 'Busytown'.
11. Using the 'Edit' menu select 'Paste'
12. If the 'Confirm File Replace' window appears select 'Yes'.
